WHAT IS THIS?
The reason for creating this app is because that it sounded like a cool mockup if users are able to identify, and understand how to take care of plants by simply using their camera, or searching it up in our internal search engine.
And also, the secondary reason being that I would like to show that I am not always about the tech aspect of design and general interest, I am able to widen my horizon with this app as an example.

WHY THIS DESIGN?
Theme: Soft woods
Target: Adult
As this app surrounds the topic of plants, I have opted to go for a soft touch. Where the colours are smooth (sooth) and pleasant for your eyes, with the buttons in the shape of a leaf. And some of the ui elements easily identifiable by symbols, (like water, camera, and searching)
The reasons for doing so, is to give the application a sort of "premium" feeling where the app is already very word heavy, so instead of having a menu list that has a button with the label of "menu", like mentioned earlier, I have opted for symbols instead that are easy to read and has been tested by giving people a glance at the application. Another nifty UX element is that our app has loading screens, to make the app more seamless as opposed to having it instantly load. (this is a removable feature, but it makes the app look very sharp and snappy, which is off putting for an app based around smooth flow).
