SIGN LANGUAGE 101.
An app to enable users to learn sign language.
ASL (American)
FSL (French)
SgSL (SIngapore)
This is a mockup based on learning Sign Language, no matter if its American, French, Korean or Singapore Sign Language. And as to why I have created this app would be the reason because that I used to have a soulmate that is medically diagnosed with mutism.
And so the development of Sign Language 101 was in its making.

WHAT IS THIS?
This is an app focused on the teachings of Sign Language at the low cost of Free, where users who are willing to learn, are able to learn the basics or advanced depending on their level of dedication to learning Sign Language. There are also features of being able to call an expert for help whenever you need reasons to learn Sign Language, or Commitment issues, or even simply just understanding words that might be hard to understand.
For users who plan to learn this over a course of a few months, there are features like "continue where you last left", or being able to scroll through the list of lessons included in the course, to revisit some of the lessons you might have forgotten about.

WHY THIS DESIGN?
Theme: Wild
Target: Teens > Adults
The reasoning behind my wild uses of colors is to give every page a different feel, in order to try something new, and so far as a feedback. It's has been on the favorable side of it looking relatively neat and unique to the market.
And as using a wild color palette it would be a lot easier to find out buttons that are clickable, links that are clickable and images that can be clicked on in order to expand. And example being the usage of white background with a light pink as its button, makes it an easily identifiable button without the need of glancing too heavily at the application.
And another example would be the level selection, you are able to tell easily which level you are on, which you have completed and the ones that you have yet to complete. Making the app user friendly and comforting for the eyes.
