WHAT IS THIS?
This is a website for a VR Mockup Store, where users are able to Purchase VR Headsets, or if they so choose they are able to Rent a VR Headset for any duration they would prefer at a fixed rate compared to having an additional surcharge amount. The method of collection would be done either via, collection over warehouse, outlets, or on-site delivery.
For users who already own a headset, they are still able to use this website to be able to search for their latest VR news, with the motif being that if they are lazy to keep in touch with all the major companies like Oculus / Meta / Valve or Vive, with their VR Updates, they are able to come by to the website to be caught up with the news that matters most.
WHY THIS DESIGN?
Theme: Minimal
Target: Adults
As I love doing designs that are minimal, and I also like things that are straight to the point. I have combined all the aspects of things that someone can find comforting, such as having my unique "dot" design in the background, as to not make the website look empty with white spaces. Giving them a feel that the website is more fuller in terms of space than it actually is compared to not having the dots in the background.
The colour choices were also intentional, as I want items that can be clicked on (apart from the Footer) to be more brighter compared to the elements to easier let the user know in a glimpse that whatever they might be reading, such as browsing the store, or looking at the front page. That it either goes further down in detail, or adds the item to cart.
